…begins her 23rd year at Step Ahead. She opened the school in 1990. She was originally a special needs teacher in the elementary level. She holds a masters degree in special needs and an undergraduate degree in elementary education and biology. 

 …is a graduate of Salem State College. She has been teaching at Step Ahead for over a decade. For many years, Fran taught elementary school at the Holy Family school in South Boston. Fran’s specializes in Social Studies and Science. 

 …is a graduate of Bridgewater State College. She has been at Step Ahead for 15 years. Chris is the driving force behind seasonal pagents we hold throughout the school year. She is also an expert in deciphering the individual learning needs of our students. 

 …is a graduate of Westfield State College with A Bachelor of Science in Special Education. She has been at Step Ahead for 4 years. Prior to joining Step Ahead, Nancy was a Special Education Teacher in the Brockton Public School system.

 …is a graduate of Quincy College with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

…is the co-director of the Quincy Step Ahead school. Lynda attended Kansas State College, Leslie College, and Quincy College.  She is a Certified Massachusetts Director and an Orton, Gillingham trained instructor.  She taught special needs in Boston for 10 years.  She’s taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for 22 years and is fluent in American sign language.  This year is her 23rd year teaching Pre-Kindergarten / Kindergarten and has worked diligently to make Step Ahead the success it is today!

In addition, Lynda is a member and past president of the Braintree’s Gardeners Guild. She is married with two grown children and two adorable grandchildren.  She belongs to a book club and enjoys to read, cook and bake.

 Carol has been teaching at Step Ahead since 2004.  She is a graduate of Bridgewater State College with a degree in Psychology and a concentration in Early Childhood. Over the years she has coached softball and soccer and has been on the Board  of Directors for Braintree Youth Soccer and Braintree Girls Softball.  She is a former Leader for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and supervisor for Braintree Sons of Italy Junior Lodge.
